iCanMove is rehabilitation at the sub-acute, chronic and final phases of your injury or condition, providing targeted exercise interventions aimed at preventing relapse or further injury and facilitating return to full funciton and/or client self management. It is a colaborative approach with your healthcare professional, coach or trainer when appropriate, to ensure the best result for you.
As babies we learned to lift our heads, roll over, crawl and finally stand up. At around 5 years we had developed optimal mobility and stability of our joints for optimal efficiency of movement.
After this our lifestyle, sports, injury and habits can cause us not to use these movements fully and our brain forgets and/or alters these patterns we spent our earlier years perfecting. Freedom of movement can be lost causing compensatory, uncontrolled movements that can lead to loss of balance, strength, pain and injury.
